Parksy (parksy.com) is a free, commission-free parking marketplace operating across 57 countries. Founded in Sydney in 2011 by Daniel Battaglia, the platform started as a way to connect drivers with unused driveways and has grown into a full toolkit for anyone dealing with parking, from finding a space to fighting an unfair fine.
Drivers use Parksy to search for parking near them, appeal parking fines with a free AI-powered calculator, scan confusing signage to check if they're actually allowed to park, locate a car they've forgotten where they left, and file an accident report on the spot. None of these tools require a paid subscription, and most don't require signup at all.
Space owners can list a driveway, garage or unused spot for free. There's no commission on bookings and no lease paperwork, because renting out a parking space for a few hours or a month was never meant to work like signing a lease.
Parksy is available on the App Store and Google Play, and the company is privately held and bootstrapped, built by a small team using AI-assisted development rather than outside funding. Daniel previously worked at Lehman Brothers, RBC Capital Markets and Macquarie Bank before leaving finance to build Parksy full time.
